Get It How I Got It (GIHIGI), is about focusing on the depth of inner progress rather than outward perception. This song is a commentary on how many artists’ get lost in who they are versus how they present themselves to the world. Lost in the importance of personal growth and maturity, missing that finding their inner strength is so important to build and to share. This song serves as an anthem of confidence and pushes to challenge the conscious mind.
GIHIGI is a music video starring local Kelowna artist, Cole Isaac. My approach to this project was quite simple; a one-day shoot, with three locations. The final edit in black and white felt appropriate given the vision Cole wanted to come through; strength, raw, confident. There was a major time crunch to complete this project - start to finish was a total of 13 hours.
