Wait a Minute was written as an expression of spiritual development. It comes from a time of recovery from my (Huey Doje) third ACL tear in the same knee. It was a time that would result in major personal and artistic growth. With soothing harmonies, sweet melody, and smooth flow and wordplay, Wait a Minute quickly became one of my favourite songs I’ve made.
Another simple and well-executed plan by Director, Jordan Powers. Though, a first and board line frightening scene for me; filming the canoe scene, while also, in a canoe. Keeping the camera steady while the water fluctuated its flow was a new experience for me. As always, we went with it and it turned out to be extremely successful. Everything aligned perfectly in terms of crew and location which made the timeline easy to follow. Special thanks to BNA for letting us film in their Tasting Room.
